Welcome to Eagle Flag Service. By subscribing to our holiday flag placement service, you (“Subscriber” or “Customer”) agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before completing your subscription.
1. Subscription Service & Holiday Schedule
Eagle Flag Service provides a seasonal, multi-holiday American flag placement subscription. The standard annual service tier includes professional installation and removal of one (1) high-quality U.S. flag mounted on a temporary ground pole for the following major holidays:
Memorial Day
Flag Day
Independence Day (Fourth of July)
Labor Day / 9-11 Patriot Day
Veterans Day
Flags are typically installed 1 to 7 days prior to the holiday and removed 1 to 7 days following the holiday. Exact delivery and retrieval timelines are subject to local weather conditions and operational routing efficiency.
2. Equipment Ownership & Property Access
All service equipment—including flags, poles, ornaments, and ground sleeves—remains the exclusive property of Eagle Flag Service at all times. Equipment is provided on a temporary rental basis strictly for the duration of scheduled holidays.
By subscribing, you grant an irrevocable license and explicit permission to Eagle Flag Service personnel and its authorized community volunteers (including designated representatives from Cub Scout Pack 912) to enter your property's front yard and lawn area for the express purposes of installing, inspecting, maintaining, and retrieving service equipment.
3. Property Damage & Underground Line Liability Waiver
Our installation process involves driving a metal ground anchor or sleeve into the turf near the curb, sidewalk, or driveway. The sleeve sits flush with the ground and is designed to remain safely hidden when not in use.
CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WAIVER: It is the Subscriber's sole responsibility to notify Eagle Flag Service of any shallow underground property features before installation. Eagle Flag Service, its coordinators, and volunteer personnel accept zero liability for accidental damage to unmarked underground systems, including but not limited to: lawn sprinkler lines, sprinkler heads, landscape lighting wires, invisible dog fences, or private drainage lines.
If you have a known underground system near your curb, please notify us during signup or contact us at 713-614-2227 so we can coordinate a safe, designated placement spot with you.
4. Subscriber Flag Care & Lawn Maintenance Obligations
Subscribers are expected to treat the American flag with proper respect while displayed on their property. We request your cooperation with the following protective guidelines:
Pre-Installation Lawn Watering: To ensure seamless setup, we highly recommend watering your front lawn thoroughly 24 to 48 hours prior to a scheduled holiday installation cycle. Softening the soil makes inserting the temporary ground sleeve quick, clean, and easy for our deployment team.
Weather & Interference: Do not touch, relocate, or attempt to adjust the flag installation. If a flagpole leans heavily or falls due to extreme weather or wind, please contact us immediately to fix it.
Theft or Vandalism: If the flag equipment is stolen, vandalized, or damaged due to third-party actions while on your premises, please alert us as soon as possible so we can coordinate a replacement ahead of the next holiday.
5. Support for Local Youth Scouting
Eagle Flag Service proudly operates a community-backed business model. A portion of net proceeds generated from every active annual subscription directly benefits local youth scouting via Cub Scout Pack 912. By maintaining an active subscription, you are directly funding local character development, civic education, and community service projects.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Subscriptions automatically renew on an annual basis. You retain the right to cancel your subscription service at any time by filling out our formal unlinked web cancellation form. Billing and service adjustments will execute based on the timing option chosen upon cancellation:
Immediate Cancellation: Service is deactivated immediately. No further installations will take place, future recurring billing stops, and our team will coordinate the pickup of active equipment from your property. Existing partial-term payments are non-refundable.
End-of-Term Cancellation: Service stays fully active through the conclusion of your current annual subscription cycle, ensuring you receive all remaining prepaid holiday displays. The subscription will securely close and expire at the end of the term without renewing.
